Bangkok#7 Sky Bar & Patpong

Guess how we took this picture.. We cant afford the helicopter of course. So high up in the sky.. At the roof top of Lebua State Tower***** which is level 64!!!

We have never experience anything like this~ The Dome of this building accomodate the open air SkyBar*****$$ and Sirocco Restaurant$$$. We were so excited taking the lift up. The first step we walked in, oh my god. How cool. As in really nice and wiinnndy~~ Such strong wind, Angie is afraid being blown off! I guess that's why they won't permit guest taking pictures from the stairs. They have quite stringent dress code too. No sandals, backpacks, tripods.. But all of that being taken away (tripod, and our bulky backpack) means more hassle free enjoyment..

We ordered a cocktail and had a time of our life~ oops, it's crowded here..no seats.. well that's the point, u cant hang around long here, order yr drink, take some pictures, pay the bill and thats all.

Some say this is a must go place for bachelors -->Patpong (Bangkok's red light district)** Well it is truly an eye opener for Angie. As soon as we hopped off the cab, a young guy started to approach us.

Man: Tiger show, pussy show, ping pong show, anything you want. You can have a look at this bar, FREE of charge.

Having said that, we followed him to one of the bars upstairs. Ooh, dancing poles, naked ladies, some kind of show in progress..NOt really interesting for us though.. Lol. Some might be persuaded to take a seat. Once you do that, you're doomed. It's what they say, the Patpong scam. Haha, actually they are just over pricing the drinks you buy. Maybe 1000bht for 2 coke? :P
Of course we left instead of staying to watch middle aged woman performing their 'art'.

Taking a stroll on the street, the gogo bars definitely have more sexy looking 'girls' aka lady boys. o.o What a night....
