Bangkok#6 Golden Mount & Suan Lum Night Bazaar

A great start to our 4th day in Bangkok --> Golden Mount temple @ Wat Saket*** From the top (after taking an exhausting 318 steps *sweat*), you can see a panaromic view of Bangkok. It is a place worth going since the temple design differs from others, with its golden chedi. The locals will ring the bells which was located along the stairs (er, probably a way to 'inform' their god of their prayers :P). So we followed. Making noises, peaceful noises. ding dong ding dong~~

From the golden mount, we took a short walk to one of the Chao Praya canal boat$ station. Hopped on the boat QUICK! It's leaving..! Yea, u can say that aloud "EXPRESS"... :)

This antique looking boat has very good 'technology' actually. As we ride along the river, the rooftop of the boat recline before reaches the under bridge. Meaning, everyone standing have to lower their heads! erm, except those who are short :P and they have plastic sheets on the sides of the boat. Function: cover yourself from the water splashes!

Suan Lom Night Market*** Angie enjoyed shopping here compared to Chatuchak because it is much much more comfortable at night. Ahh.. relaxing walk, and no HOT sun.. just nice.. even though things are a bit more expensive over here and less product variety. There are many nice restaurants around the market. We end up having dinner at a pizzeria instead of our favorite Thai food. And.. Thai food is still the best choice...
