Seoul#3 Gyeongbokgung Palace & Tosokchon Ginseng Chicken Soup

Our Korean mart breakfast.. LoL

First metro ride.. We did not buy the T-money (like a reload card you could use for public transport and convenience store), so got to buy a new ticket every time. Considering the short period we'll be here, and it cost W2500 for the card which is not refundable.  It is advisable to use the T-money if you're staying for a long time & need to use public transport every time as they provide fare discount of W100 each time.

Our first destination --> Gyeongbokgung Palace**** We reach here just in time for the guard changing ceremony which starts every hour from 10am - 3pm. The entrance fee to the palace cost W3000 which is also valid for entrance to National Palace Museum & National Folk Museum.

We just took a stroll around the folk museum. Not really the thing for us :P

"Sillye Hamnida" (excuse me) , I need a haircut please...

The famous Tosokchon Restaurant [토속촌 삼계탕]$$***** for Samgyetang (ginseng chicken soup). A very popular dish in Korea, especially eaten during the summer season where its nutrients was suppose to replace the excessive sweating and physical exertion. The restaurant is just 5min walk from Gyeongbokgung station exit2. We took a taxi from the palace itself which costs W2400. Actually it is quite near to walk from the palace if you're exiting from the Gwanghwamun gate of the palace.

We ordered the black chicken and white chicken ginseng soup. Black chicken costs W20,000, while the latter costs W13,000. The chicken is stuffed with glutinous rice and ginseng, YUMS!
A: I had the best kimchi here.. =)
P: I love chicken ginseng soup, MUST TRY!!
